AMAZING Mid-Century Modern Brass and Inlaid Abalone Shell Crab Sculpture or Serving Dish. Attributed to Los Castillo, made in Tlaquepaque, Mexico in the 1950s. This crab is HUGE! 21 inches long and 12 inches tall with a depth of 2.5 inches. Made from mixed metals of brass and copper with Abalone shell accents. Marked on the back COBRE (copper) then Tlaquepaque F. C. S. Mexico, plus a maker's mark (capital P). Some condition issues as shown in photos - may polish up.
